jim_supra
You just turn up on the day, buy a ticket and off you go. I would check the opening times before setting a date to go as it's not open all year round (I don't think) As for fuel costs, budget around £350 or so, although I can't remember exactly how much the trip cost me, I had to factor in recovery costs the next weekend and repair costs after being crashed into. I would advise trying to get track insurance. and maybe to hold off going untill next summer as the weather is starting to get a bit crap now. Gaz6002
I once got back from the 'Ring on 3/4 of a tank in my Supra but thats an extreme lol. You can pretty much spend any budget on petrol on the Autobahns to be honest so it's hard to say. It's directly proportional to how heavy your right foot is. Once there, you just turn up, buy a ticket and race. You would be well advised to check out the times that the track is open for extended days rather than just a few hours as well to get maximum time on-track. Oh, and try not to go when it's wet. A good website for track opening times and info: http://www.nurburgring.org.uk/index.html

Lucas
You got to do it mate its all the fun. One bit of advice I would give you to jump the que is to go on at the half way point and you can buy your tickets for laps there to. That way at the end of the 1/2 lap you can then go on and do a full one straight after with very little waiting in ques.
Chiefgroover
I would recommend top grade tyres, it will make a massive difference. Change your PAS fluid, if its old and overheats your in deep trouble. It can and has happened. You'll need new brake fluid and 600degree pads to avoid fade. Drive on dipped lights, check your mirrors regular, watch for decambering corner entrances, and spend the first few laps going slowly learning the track the best you can. Tom S
Trig, listen to AJI or pm Steve R, they both organised great trips to the ring. AJI just been going longer. How about we forget JAE next year and do Supra's to the ring instead......
