It's totally and utterly different, one's a road car production engine, the other a bespoke race engine that has a little resemblance to the 3S-GTE. Just search Toyota 503E , but bear in mind there are some sites proclaiming details of 503E's that are really modified 3S-GTE engines. You can recognise a genuine 503E as it has external plumbing for cooling the block and head separately. The block top was closed deck. It was sometimes nicknamed Medusa due to the plethora of pipes external to the thing.image

i think the torque was around 330.

 

although, im not sure on one graph it showing 600hp:eyebrows:

Whoa, it might make good BHP figures, but if you want a road car engine, you need to sacrifice BHP for area under the torque curve. If it was in a 400 kilo race car it might be awesome, for a heavy old beastie you need to re address the sizings and you'll find more drivability, for sure. Nonetheless very impressive figures, you can always tell a truly high power Cosworth Sierra RS500 engine by the way it *isses oil out as the block distorts :)
