Ian C
Shot in the dark but hey, you never know with the assortment of people on here. I'm trying to make an animated texture to use in Hammer, the HL2 Source engine editing tool. There is bog all docco on how to do it apart from the naming convention for each frame (blah000.tga, blah001.tga, etc). Nothing about the vtex parameters to use or what to put in the vmt file afterwards. Has anyone done this before and got it working? I managed to get one hint that you make a blah.txt file which gives the start and end frames in it and feed that to vtex instead, it produced a tecture file that appeared in Hammer, unanimated, and when in game it shrank to 1/16th of the size I'd set and also didn't animate. Grrr. -Ian
