Big Mark
Used some of this stuff yesterday to mesh my front bumper and lower spoiler as the car body shop was closed and only the diy shops were open. I figures 'weatherproof, highly flexible and durable' would make it ideal. Problem is.....24 hours later is hasn't set. Does this stuff actaully ever set or will stay gooey and thats all? I realise that it is suppose to be 'highly flexible' but I figured it meant like a rubber or jelly, not like goo? It's not really holding anything in place. Am I going to need to scrape it all off and get some proper mastik?
SatSport
it will go like chewing gum eventually....... maybe `No More Nails` stuff would have been better!?
Big Mark
it will go like chewing gum eventually....... maybe `No More Nails` stuff would have been better!? Dam. Will have to try and remove as much as possible and use something better. At least the car body shop is open.
Big Mark
Too messy to remove, have just filled in any gaps with No Nails and as I am fibre glassing a crack in the lower spoiler I'll stick some resin over it too.

Big Mark
Too late now. I bonded my lower spoiler on with proper car body mastik. It worked great though was as messy as hell to get off of my hands. I should of waited until today and got another tube of it.
DannoSupra
Have you put the mesh on? I meant use the glue gun on the mesh
Big Mark
Yep. I did it yesterday, hence my concern that the sealant is still gooey.
The Raven
I HATE THAT STUFF! Never hardens awful .
Big Mark
I do too now. I put some No Nails in the spaces and covered everything in fibre glass resin. So all should be ok once it has cured. We live and learn.
