Steve
5K 'ish? Could the car just be dropped off with you or would you just want the block?
grahamc
is this what the dyno graph looks like? minus the slightly lower numbers
Wez
Thats power vs AFR. Your power curve levels off at 5500 and then starts to drop at 6500. Mine is a little different.
Chris Wilson
Could the car just be dropped off with you or would you just want the block? Just the short motor. But I could do the lot, remove and refit, although I tend to shy away from this.

Mine is a little different. http://www.zen85016.zen.co.uk/gallery/supradyno/wesdyno6.jpg is it just me, or have you lost a chunk of low down power there and early spool? you car was famous for the spool.... very smooth graph though. Ryan.G
The lower torque and later spool on the new dyno graph i exspect was down to the way the boost was being controlled. When i got it to 552bhp it was using a MBC and then the new 554bhp it was using an aem solenoid. I exspect it needs more duty lower down TBH but Wes got his original mapper to set this up as he is better with the software than me and actually likes AEM's MBC @ 1.3bar then dropping to 1.1bar hence torque drop off Aem Solenoid - Not sure on boost levels Without cams - Holding 1.4bar Can anyone over lay the 3 and maybe put on Homer t67 and ianc t67
Wez
I need to fine tune my AEM solenoid

dangerous brain
According to this http://www.showoffyourcar.com//cars/TOYOTA/20925.jpg I've got a 272 exhaust cam and it doesn't say anything about an inlet cam so I will assume its stock. I don't know what all the other gumph says but I know the tubby was a T67 sized HKS T04R with a worn bearing. Heres the graph from Thor (yeah yeah yeah I know inflated power figures blah blah) http://spicyweasel.com/bryan/image-cache/Bryan%27s%20Car/thor%20dyno_disp800.jpg And the following day at Marlin motorsport http://spicyweasel.com/bryan/image-cache/Bryan%27s%20Car/dan%20dyno_disp800.jpg Dunno if thats of any help to the diagnosis here.
