Fargo
just wondering, all those with polished bits under the hood, how do you keep it shiny. im debating how best to protect and clean my newly polished pipes. either a clear high temp laquer or maybe chrome plating (expense), or maybe el naturel. Fargo
lol yeh yeh was waiting fot the inuendo. so spray with WD to protect, assume that excess is wiped off. but do you give me a clean first before spraying, if so what do you use. a simple metal cleaner etc.

Ian Ian
Just autosol every now and then or Auto glym chrome cleaner its slightly less abrasive, but generaly it stays clean if you still have the full engine undertray on Cheers -Ian-
RobSheffield
I opted for chrome as alloy needs constant polishing to keep clean, and no lacquer will stay see through long, instead they will go yellow/brown

colsoop
A carnauba wax applied regulalrly will stop them tarnishing, if they have dulled then a metal polish applied with a sponge and then wiped off with a microfibre cloth works well followd by wax.
