Fifty
Hey Rich, we could do a holiday swap thing eh? no problem Colin -actually I envy you BECAUSE you have done what you wanted to do! We will certainly keep in touch. I have been furiously upgrading the house in Cornwall and may make it to market just after Xmas; I am mindful of all the propoganda being generated on prices 40000 bucks less is 2 years " beer money" heres another taster place http://www.costarica-real.com/shop/action/ls.php?lang=en&action=single&OB_ID=387 Rich PS they wouldnt notice youd gone we are both bald:p Rich

Jspec Germany
So are you gonna take it with you, or use it to fund a 4x4 purchase? Mmm... new M version of X5? I'd imagine the roads are not exactly great for a Supra.
Thorin
Only just read this thread, do it! It looks fantastic, I'd love to do something like that. Maybe once I'm an old man like you and made my fortune I can afford to

Fifty
Old man indeed! lol dont have a fortune either but on the ground costs for first year will be covered by interest. Yep; will need a 4X4 one day but the area we are going you can get by with a bike! All subject to seeling myhouse in Cornwall and market doesnt look that hot right now - well see how it goes. First trip, say 90 days will be to assess property, then back to US/UK for a week or so then back for another 90 days to buy hopefully. Problem is there are strict immigration criteria to be met, but essentially you pay to get in lol One day all will be welcome to visit Rich Rich

CJ
brave man. I'd miss bbc news 24 too much to leave the UK. People said that to me - about being brave - when I moved out here to Kos but I don't see it that way at all. To me brave is fighting fires, dodging bullets, scanning for land mines etc. Brave certainly isn't moving to a foreign country as if the worst comes to the worst, you move back. Jspec Germany
I've lived in several foreign countries and traveled to 40 others and I have to say, it's been the best part of my life. Good on ya CJ, for having the spirit and cajones to explore new horizons.

Yes CJ, but are your parents or mum from greece originally? IF so then its more like going back to your roots. But yeah, brave for one is not brave for another. Carl, you can get BBC or Sky anywhere in the world now. I have it here in Germany. Das mag sein, aber wenn ich BBC News24 gucke, will ich in England sein, nirgendwo anders... verstehest?
