And a corner shop? yep corner shop -nope the shops are on the main roads - exceptionally well stocked and selling everything you could want food wise many exotic fruits; ciggies wines from all over -this is NOT a third world place. The surf beach close by is rated as 1 of the top 3 in the world. beers from all over are also available though the local Imperial beer is very good. marlin etc can be bought for 5 dollars a kilo Rich:p:p Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

My son graduates next June we will take an exploratory tour of this region for up to 1 year to evaluate potential. Residency can be bought but property speculation is allowed on tourist visa in any case. Miami just 2 1/2 hours away. He may well come with us and set up string of internet cafes for example - loads of American Canadian Spanish Tourists around. Made loads of friends there last month - nice peopl. you are all welcome:p:d I will show you the jungle -remember I spent 15 years working in the African Bush! I will have no problems adjusting - I have just returned from vacation and exploratory short trip -I spent many years in worst places than that.
