As an intermittent problem, this is very common and even considered somewhat normal. I have suspected it might be caused by colder plugs used for BPU, but I'm not very technical and that might just not be right at all. I just turn on the A/C which raises the idle by ~200rpm. It doesn't happen too frequently though. Does your car do it all the time?
Guest FKADizzmystar
yea ever since i gave it a basic service e.g. Fuel/oil/air filters, oil change, and plugs (iridiums) its been doing it, i tryed the A/C and it still does it.
carl0s
Well, the A/C doesn't fix the problem, but surely the revs raise enough to stop the car vibrating whilst the compressor is on? I know it's not a proper fix, and the compressor kicks in/out so it only half masks the problem, but it does help. Like I said mine (J-spec) does it very infrequently, but my other car (export spec) did it too.
robin
I'm no expert but it sounds like its hunting for idle? Maybe the sensors are dirty/faulty. Do you still have the old spark plugs? Maybe pop them back in and see if it solves your problem.

Jake
i think rugby is shit too.. You would now so any suggestions? Probably best to go back to basics. Start with more time on the training field. A more disciplined back row and better kicking would help a lot too. HTH.
