michael
jeez and i thought this was the technical section, maybe we should have a piss taking section My answer was serious, I get the impression you think otherwise? Engine bay... lots of heat... fumes into the cabin... what's gonna get you first?
RobSheffield
Gaz, get the new kitted first then open it up. As Michael said, blowing exhaust can ignite oil lines, or burn through wastegate piping leading to runaway boost, which would be BAD. Chris Wilson
driving my car on full boost with a cracked/blown exaust manifold;) It won't make full boost with a cracked/blown exhaust manifold... Depending on the placement and size of the blow it MAY try and ignite something combustible.
