DaveK
I think I'm going to borrow some of these. When people ask me what my interests are, I always want to be able to say : rock climbing / sky diving / alligator wrestling etc. I think I'll just start making stuff up! Ewen
whats fish ponding? building them? setting them up? It sums it up well I think. Now its established and the fish are breeding, I spend a lot of time just looking at it. A great pleasure for me.
hogmaw
Also a bit of guitar, but my main hobby is playing strategy boardgames. I used to play lots of computer games, but have jaded to them in the last few years and now play boardgames instead. I'm well into Settlers, Carcasonne etc... got any recommendations on those lines? DaveK
Flying. When funds permit. I have had my Private Pilots Licence for eleven years. Can you give a bit more info on this? Do you have your own plane or do you rent one by the hour? I decided recently that I really need to start actually doing more of the things I'd like to do. I did a quick search on the web, and it seems there are places that do pilots license for around £4,500 which seemed quite reasonable to me. But without a plane (which I suspect costs a few quid?) I wasn't sure it made sense?

Snooze
I'm well into Settlers, Carcasonne etc... got any recommendations on those lines? Exactly the right stuff! To be honest, I'm probably not a great person to actually give recommendations to a normal person (ie. being a geeky board game addict now)! There's more information that you can shake a very large stick at on this website.
