What ever you do dont get the Halfords trolley jack (yellow one) it is so bad it is dangerous, it does not seal properly on load therefore slowly goes down over a period of five mins or so !! I binned it after one use :(

wouldn't it have been better to get your money back. Damn rich people

Just wondering if anyone has an recommendations for a low profile floor jack. I need the lowest possible, I am looking at this one right now.

Good or bad ?

Any others ?

That's the same as the Machine Mart/Costco one I beleive. It's £99 or something from Machine Mart. I have one. It's fine.

The Costco is an Arcan, probably rebranded by a few people.

They don't have the lightweight ones in at present, they seem to be back to the Arcan XL30 that I have, still fairly low but very heavy.

89mm high when closed, ~£55, no use to you if you need delivery though :)

Machine Mart have the Clarke CTJ1250A, 79mm saddle height but only half the lifting capacity of the Arcan at 1.25 tonnes, just under £100.
