neil tt
I was a die hard f1 fan and have not missed the british gp for some years, however the current situation confirms to me that it is not really a sport, but a farce, Alonso is a twat, worse than Schumacher is alledged to have been, i have always been a Ferrari fan even in the dark days, however i can take it or leave it now, the "sport" is full of whingeing tossers like Mark Webber, Alonso, Raikonnen etc, and then there is the FIA, they are now even reviewing prodrives entry for next year, what will it be next "Coulthard called me a twat, FIA could you please investigate"??, i do not really give a monkeys now, just as long as Alonso does not win, as his actions towards his own team, are worse than cheating against another team, let him go back to Renault with Flavio Briawankertore!! I am starting to belive its not worth watching anymore:( whats happened with Alonso and the FIA, its just a bloody joke
Homer
I've been watching F1 for over twenty years and I have to say this has been the most exciting (for F1) season in a good ten years. I cannot wait for Brazil. Couldn't agree more. I don't care for all this political nonsense and constructor title stuff (couldn't care less who wins that), but from a spectators point of view it's been the best racing & drivers championship for years. SupraStar 3000
i have of a mixed mind regarding f1. On one hand it been the most exciting season i can remember,.. on the other, i'm sick to death of the bigwigs governing the sport and deciding the outcome of races depending who in current favor and towing the line. entertainment and sport V money,.... money wins evertime
imi
How come Ferrari were allowed to get away with it with Schu. The FIA should have no say what so ever in team strategy and should keep there nose out, just as they should have with the cheating issue. Why should Alonso get the same treatment when he lost the whole team there constructors points, the guy is a cry baby. Good post...... not to mention the added pressure of some Ferrari biased tosser looking over and scrutinising McLaren's every move during the race weekend. Gazboy
I don't think it is about the money Ed, it's about Mosley's dislike for Ron Dennis, and excersising his authority. Hopefuly people will ask for a vote of no confidence in Mosley and the bloke will get kicked out of the FIA.
imi
I wouldnt be surprised if Mclaren for whatever reason either cocked things up due to the pressure or amazingly lose their points only for Ferrari to win the championship....
RedM
That's almost a given, Imi.

He might come over as a bit of an idiot but he's a very shrewd guy and very good at politics. He won't leave until he wants to, and only when he's lined up his sucessor (probably Jean Todt) and made sure they're voted in. Nothing new with politics in F1 either, it's always been like that. It's still the ultimate in motorsports though, and this season has been fantastic. People always like to moan about F1 though, there's no overtaking, blah blah blah.
