dilocruzy
Just a quick one... Im buying a new set of these and was wondering whether there are more than one finish to the wheels. Could anyone shed some light? I got this reference from a previous post by Jake (member here): 18 x 8½'' fronts (Part #: LPZ439-S0670-ZM) 18 x 10" rears (Part #: LAM287-81000) The ones I would like are the 9 spoked in a brushed metal exterior, with an anthracite/gun metal finish to the 'apertures' between the spokes, are these them? I would hate to get them in and find out that they are just plain boring silver ones... Many thanks, Danilo
AndrewOW
I have the very same Lexus 9 spoke (brushed metal/anthracite) alloys you're after, and if someone could point me in the right direction, I could have a look on them for the info you need. That's if they do have any info on them!

Soonto_HAS_soop
they are diamond cut on the faces and as you say dark grey inside . Diamond Cut is the first step to a badly corroding wheel IMHO. Had them on mine for a couple of years and they had started to corrode in places quite badly. Mine are still like new, but as with any wheels you have to keep them relatively clean, and I put a wheel wax on them too, just to make sure. peter richards
five years mine have been on , apart from slight kerb marks which is down to me and a high kerb the wheels are mint . and the car is out all year
Soonto_HAS_soop
Mine went on the cente caps first, spreading from the locking bolt, then they eventually started to move out onto the main wheels themselves. I didn't clean mine weekly mind you, I had better things to do. It is a big problem in OEMs for diamond cut finish, the aesthetic types love them, the engineers hate them. Mind you, thinking about it, are you sure that they are diamond turned at all?

peter richards
the problem you have with the caps is youve done them up to tight , that cracks the laquer , if you dont clean your car once a week you dont deserve it. even my smilie keeps getting the bird shit off
Soonto_HAS_soop
the problem you have with the caps is youve done them up to tight , that cracks the laquer You're probably right with the caps. if you dont clean your car once a week you dont deserve it. Well that's just stupid. I don't dust my TV either, does that mean I don't deserve that? I've already got rid of my car as I got bored of it, at the end of the day it is just a car. Need4Speed
Check out the static pic in my garage - the rims are brand new in that one. If you think they're expensive you don't want to know about Corvette magnesium rims!
