Adam J
Seems a bit silly to have the huge class gaps running at the same time. I would say the Evo prob would have pulled round if the car was not there as all three seem to be understeering across the track with similar corner speeds. Scary vid though! michael
And again @ Combe... http://www.norris-designs.co.uk/May%20day%20crash.wmv Right at the end ~11 minutes in - 60MB video. Nice camera setup though.
Scott
That didn't look so bad. The other guy was a better driver too. Didn't realise the brakes could go quite like that.
Kev.O
I would've said he was lucky he hit the other Evo as it looked like it took alot of the speed from the car.
Homer
The red Evo was obviously a far quicker car braking and through the corners, shame Norris took out yet another car
cheekymonkey
That guy is very lucky to walk away yet again - didn't see the other chap get out so quick but I assume everyone was OK in the end!
SilverSoop
God they were both nasty accidents! Glad everyone walked out alive and safe though...

Works fine in GT racing, look at the British GT or even Le Mans where you have 2 classes of road cars and prototypes that make them look like they are standing still. The only difference is that they are all bloody good drivers and wouldnt make a school boy error like that.
MaveriK
His brakes failed and he smacked the hell out of the car, even the gear knob kicked the bucket. Roll cage did the business again, group buy anyone?
ivan
So let's get this straight. He's crashed 3 times at Combe and taken out another car on two of those times? Someone ought to ban him from that place - he's a menace! I wonder what next weekend's going to bring?
cheekymonkey
I love the way he legs it over the crash barrier without a thought to the other driver
Thorin
er yeah what happened there then? I think I'd give Mr Norris a wide berth if I were in the same race as him!

Konrad
They always seems to switch wipers on when smashing cars, what's with all those race drivers?!
Chris Wilson
Jumping over the barrier is EXACTLY what he should have done, the marshals and medics attend to other parties. Doing anything else would likely see him in serious trouble. Even on a track day that's exactly the correct thing to do. It wasn't a public track day though, was it? I thought he raced in some series? Not seen the incident, I don't like looking at crashes

Same circuit too so I hope Norris isn't there *grin*
Chris Wilson
Castle Combe for a first track day? Brave man Expect to be wondering exactly where you are on track, and use the cones they'll no doubt put out to find the turn in points, or I guarantee you'll be turning in miles too soon. Nasty place to have a big off, take care!!

Whitesupraboy2
that second crash isnt that bad, not nice but not nasty, feel sorry for evo driver who got clouted. He was just racing and had brake failure as he chucked on to the grass in a straight line. Im not sure why he did that though as it wouldnt of helped him.
