Whitesupraboy2
You can send it back to Microsoft as they have 3 yrs warranty. They wont be shocked to get it back and more then likely will send you a new one.
Stonkin
just done this with mine, which was out of its year warranty, famous red circle problem. Just call Microsoft they will take the serial and advise you of how to send it back to them.
MrHanky
As above, I had the red light of doom (think its top right one). Speak to microsoft and they will guide you through the process. Took about a week and a half to take the old one and send a new one. Mark
RedM
I hear that the new black 360s have the same problem. Can anyone confirm?

They wont be shocked to get it back and more then likely will send you a new one. I remember reading on AV Forums, that the 3 year warranty is only extended to the Red rings of Death, any other problems are only covered by the original 12 month warranty, so you may need a proof of purchase to get it repaired. leelbuk
I fixed mine with the 3 red lights of death - just search under google for xbox 360 xclamp. cost me 8 quid total and bought the broken XBOX for 50 quid so 58 quid for a machine that plays Halo 3 The warranty seal was already broken on this one, maybe previous owner tried to flash it but I'd always try and get it swapped/repaired by M$ for free. If they won't then try this fix!

Hi mate, as an employee of Microsoft, I would recommend sending it to Microsoft for replacement. They will send you a brand new console, because they've modified some of the components on the inside in order to minimize red light problems and freezing.
