Adam
All he needs to do is take it easy and not get into any battles with the others to win the championship. Come on the hamilton. Great weekend for sport. Rugby later and boxing tonight along with the GP tommorow

SupraStar 3000
Looked like he saved the best lap till last! Great racing from a great driver. Looks like I'll be driving to POD with radio5live on tomorrow

michael
Could you be a bit more vague with your subject lines in future please, some of us aren't crazy enough to get up and watch it live but still want to experience some of the suspense. *sigh*

Still I agree, I hope I don't get up tomorrow to post title.. *** Yeah, Hamilton is world champ *** or the like.. I might be at work tomorrow, but I'm hoping to watch it. jamesmark
Why not watch the race and THEN come online? Unless you cannot live without the internet for 2 hours? That was not hard to work out now was it? I am recording the race and going to try and cut all ties with the outside media for a week as in Tenerife. Alex
I think he's running light and gambling on a dry race...the others are heavy and gambling on wet+safety cars....as long he gets 4th and Alonso doesn't win he's still in command... merckx
I agree, he must've decided to run light. It's obviously best to be at the front if it's raining and there's a 70% chance of this happening.
imi
Very important that hamilton secured pole, clean track ahead of him, great chance to control the race and hopefully be in a commanding position.
jaymdee
TBH, I thought that there may be a post giving the qualifying result away, so purposely logged on after watching the rerun on ITV
hiten55
no ones mentioned DC's 5th placing i agree Lewis had a quality last run, worthy of 1st place, but dont count out kimi, and also, watch out for DC. if he can get past fuckardo maybe he can bet massa in the pits and get a 3rd place. doubt t happens but from his qualifying position anythings possile. go DC
jamesmark
no ones mentioned DC's 5th placing Was talking to people at my work about DC today, I think that RBR shoudl sign him up for a good few seasons as that car is only going to get better. The Newey and Coulthard partnership at Mclaren was spot on, they should stop pissing about with this 1 season contract. RBR has a lot to learn from a driver like DC. Alex
I am worried that LH won't get a good start, the Ferrari's have mugged him a few times off the grid this year.

I am worried that LH won't get a good start, the Ferrari's have mugged him a few times off the grid this year. im more worried about mclarens strategy to be honest. they havent exactly got the best strategy's in F1. well apart from making sure alonso went out into traffic after his pit stop in the last race
Gazboy
I'm amazed the Spantard's pit crew are giving him the time of day with his allegations that they are sabotaging his car. I hope he doesn't ram Lewis off the road and hand Kimi the title.
neil tt
Just got in from work, what a great result, will be up in time to watch the race in the morning, and three british drivers in the top ten:d
ivan
Just seen this on Planet-F1: "Ferrari Track Down I.T. Error The Ferrari I.T. guy has finally found out why it took over an hour for the e.mail sent out by the stewards at the Japanese GP to reach Jean Todt's computer. Apparently the 160GB laptop was almost full to capacity and the operating system was working at a tenth of its default speed. However, after deleting 899 screensavers of Michael Schumacher the machine was back to normal again."
