Matt H
I was reading Nuts today and there was an article about the new Zonda R, it said that the 6.0l v12 AMG engine rev'd up to 18000rpm?! surely thats on mistake on the mags part, cant see it reving to F1 territory engines or they just woudnt last?! do you think they meant 8k rpm?! grahamc
I think F1 engines are governed by the FIA rules saying that they cant go any higher than 19500rpm... could be flat wrong on this one though
ratm
Yeah, its a misprint, take a shufty at the the pagani website: http://www.paganiautomobili.it/english.htm Theres a tech data part for the Zonda R, it's max rpm is 8000. Sure would have been an awesome car if it went to 18000! However reliability would be a major issue.
