Having a had a TT myself for years it will be interesting to drive an NA, I think I have only driven one once. Is there anything specific to an NA I should look for? Pete
Just because they say it's HPI clear doesn't mean it's not had an accident in Japan (or indeed here). After market steering wheels on standard cars always make me wonder. As long as it's straight it's cheap enough. Hell, if it were closer I'd buy it as a project car. Big Ads
You could get a fifth of the value of the car selling the seats!

Havard
It does look ok but the battery is in the wrong place!! Should be square on with the fuse box with a rectangular frame beneath it. I wonder why it is so cheap? H.
turbonut
It also has an aftermarket induction kit, may be worth having a thorough check for other engine mods, battery could have been moved to make way for some other changes. Any thing done to the engine will have a hefty effect on insurance premium. Leather didnt come as standard and is amongst several interior mods. In your friends place Id want a definitive list of all mods before taking the plunge. best of luck Lx

I wonder why it is so cheap? H. This is what concerns me! I have decided to go with him in about an hour as I think I need to see it before he makes any real decisions.... TBH.... even if it all looks and drives OK I still may suggest he get an AA inspection just on the off chance there is something major thats not easily spotted! markjodrell
Could simply be a bargain for a quick sale. Its got to be worth a look at and a drive. Its not ridiculously cheap , a friend brought an na recently for £2600, not quite as smart looking as this one but a bit newer and that car was fine and drove very well... VIL
OK, went to look at the car yesterday. Not exactly a minter! Has at some point taken a front end knock (hard to tell how bad but possibly only a light knock?) Engine I think has been swapped at some point, but to be fair sounds quite sweet and no smoke on start up or even after idle. (and there is oil in it ) Whole car has seen paint at some point and in places it looks a bit rough but the masking job they have done is quite good? Interior a bit ropey and needs some tidying. Dash scratches, fair amount of wear and tear on seats etc. Bit of a shock, has had 10 owners! and comes with no supporting service history. All this said, the guy bought it knowing nothing about Supras and found that when he came to insure it its way too much for him! Overall the car is a little rough but could be a reasonable project or doner car for someone who is looking to get a cheap Sup to begin with as you may be able to do a deal with him? Not for us though..
AndyRick1
Think you done the rite thing, the 10 owners would have put me of straight away ,seems like there something wrong with it as anyone that buys it sells it asap.
