ivan
According to the news today, they're going to be holding lightning strikes "every week until the matter is resolved".

Pixelfill
I have to post a cheque this weekend, because I'm away for a fortnight, and it has to arrive and clear before the 28th! will I be able to post it recorded/special delivery, and if so can you post to a PO Box Or are all bets off? Plus how do you value an interest free period loan settlement? If it doesn't arrive is the value the settlement plus interest? Not impressed. Gaz Walker
I'd get a trustworthy friend or family member to post it next week after the strike Mike. Special Delivery has preference over all services so its your best bet although they aren't guarantee-ing when its delivered. Regards, Gaz. mkirby
just to update everyone, looks like a deal has been done with the unions so the strikes should be off, may take until after the monday /tuesdays strikes to filter through but looks like a 2 year deal has been done. with regards to the stuff from the usa that will come via parcelforce not royal mail so you should be ok as our service went on as normal and no one walked out yesterday so i had an exciting night doing nothing LOL

Gamer
If you don't get what you want you can always go back to holding the rest of us hostage to your demands again, seems to be the way things are done here nowadays. Love the way this country works. Sedge, Your title under your name sums up the postal service very well.
