SILKYSMOOTH
I only took it to this speed once just for a test with a BMW 330, in a safe place! I don't drive like a complete psycho nut case, Im a sensible driver with just a couple of big nuts. and why take the HKS kit off?

mikeyb10supra
Because it's crap. Anyway, lovely car! seeing as no one will justify it for you mate I will the HKS filter is not looked upon favourably by a mojority of people due to its piss poor design, crap filteration properties and it allowing bags of hot engine air to be sucked in...the stock air box eliminates all of this and will out perform nearly 99% or all aftermarket elements Ps where in Essex you from?? SILKYSMOOTH
I dont have any problems with the HKS kit - it sounds and performs excellent, I understand about the heat but there seems to be enough air flowing for it to work well. I know what you mean though. I had a Groupe M Style enclosed Carbon Fibre air kit on my Bmw E46 328i which reduced any heat coming from the engine. I still have the original air box, as well as the original exhuast and all the tools that are in the boot. From Romford in Essex mate. Soaruss
Nice clean car mate I have the same rims (19"though) waiting to be refurbished to go on mine next spring. I think they really suit a black car.
