suprattgaz
Provisionally SOLD. Never fitted. Still in gel-coat white. I have decided I cannot afford to paint this one and need the money instead so will sell it. I am very uneasy about posting this as I have done this before with my original bonnet, and the UK one I bought and both times they got damaged (with a lot of packing). This is very well made, with a large venturi duct moulded under it to create a vacuum and suck air from the engine bay. Sources say it is a copy, I have done a lot of glass work in the past and this is manufactured to a very high quality. If I didn't need the cash it would already be on my car . If you are interested and want to pick it up I am in Devon. Thanks for looking, Gary

suprattgaz
I have never bolted it on mine. The guy I bought it off said the shut-lines were perfect..... (EDIT) he said he had fitted it. He had a carbon one in his garage and this one that he bought but never bothered fitting?! he had too much money if u ask me!
Soonto_HAS_soop
If I wasn't selling my car, then I would be biting your arm off for this, one of my all time favourite bonnets, and you have it at a VERY good sale. Never heard of a non original version of this bonnet either.
suprattgaz
I will obviously post but at buyers cost and risk.
Pixelfill
I'm very interested if you can confirm if it's genuine. I've seen copies that are a really bad fit. Mike
MR.B
Did this originally belong to 'Psymon'? If so it's a replica mate. Good price though

SupraJames
Really dont want to piss on your camp fire here, but I also bought one of these replica bonnets and hopefully yours is different, but mine was way out on the lines and would not fit at all, also it would not close due to the underside of the vent hitting the fan shrowd. The only way I could get mine to fit was to skin the whole bonnet and bond it onto a stock hood at a large cost to myself, Also dur to the very poor quality of both the fibre glass and gelcoat of the replica bonnet its now all cracked Wish I had never bothered buying it...!! I doubt I could even give mine away now. As I said I just hope your is different, some pics of test fitting the bonnet showing shut lines may help your sale. suprattgaz
Well that'll help the sale!!! thanks for the heads-up though. I will fit this to the car then and take shots. It looks very well made to me, so can't see there being a problem.
suprattgaz
Thinking about it the gel-coat would have cracked as you have two different materials sitting in a sandwich arrangement. With diffrerent rates of heat expansion the glass will have been stressed and cracked.
SupraJames
Well as I said im hoping your bonnet is different. Yes the cracking on mine is due to having a metal bonnet with FG add on. If the fit is good on yours and there is no clearance issues then this should sell with ease, its a great look bonnet and not many of them around either

suprattgaz
Fitted it tonight, just offered it up, but not bolted on. Didn't take too long lining it up, it looks like it will fit fine to me. I took some photos to give you an idea of the shut lines etc. It looks to be a better fit than most of the after market bonnets I have seen! Still available if anyone is interested - it looks the dogs but I prefer the UK bulge
