tomssupra Posted October 2, 2007 Share Posted October 2, 2007 Hi, Looking to refurb some 17" imitation split rim (the rivet is metal) - been around a few like "spit and polish" in tunbridge.. they won't do them because it's a mesh type wheel or something - some other companies said no because the dish is difficult to get at with their machines... anyone know of some good refurbishers that don't care about this stuff?? I went to them with my spilt rim Blitz Techno speeds and they said no to them, they wont do any wheel that they have to take apart, they dont like doing chrome either ! Missile Posted October 9, 2007 Share Posted October 9, 2007 I live about 5 min's from /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_shock.gif spit and polish and have tried to get them to do my split rims on many occations. They don't want the risk of taking apart split rims, But if you take them apart they would prob have a look for you.
