danhicks22
Has to be a TT for me. If I had an N/A I'd always wish I had a TT... well, until I got one later, but I've never been a patient person. I think I'd prefer an auto and the price difference certainly appeals. I'm budgeting everything I do now to make sure I can get one as soon as possible. And I'm looking to sell all my worldly possesions. Wonder how much I'd get for a kidney... or a toe... anyone need any toes? No? Damn.

Okay, now I know this has been said before, but think very carefully, if you are having to save hard for a TT, then running costs will finish you off. The Supra is not a cheap car to run and the TT has its own quirks to worry about. Parts aren't cheap on either of the models and when things go wrong...welll... Don't be too put off by it, but definitely bear the maintence costs in mind when looking at one. A cheap TT won't neccesarily be in top shape. danhicks22
I earn enough to cover the running of it (I think!) and the only reason I have to save for it is because I've been paying off my travelling, previous car and first rented flat debt (went pretty much straight from graduate to spending shed laods on a round the world trip, buying my first car and moving to just outside London in the space of 6 months) for the last 7 months so I don't yet have the cash. On a month by month basis, I'll be fine, just need the capital to get the car, which I want to do as soon as possible. Even if I'm not that careful I could probably afford it by Christmas/January but if I can make a few sacrifices to get it sooner, I will.
