Branners
Matt Harwood just finished replacing my knackered UK spec alarm with a much nicer unit. Did all the fitting etc out in the rain, refused an offer of lunch and even stopped taking the hourly teas I served up. All in all a top job. Big thanks to Matt for his efforts. Branners
Matt knows the Toad alarms well, I think he knows most of the major alarm systems anyway and knows where to poke bits of wire in a mkiv to make it work without hacking the wiring to death. Sharpie
Super Hero, I'm not sure....Nice guy, YES Which did you go for in the end JB, I'm in the same boat as you....PM if you like ? Did it take long ? I have my carpet and pass seat out at the moment so, I'm sure it would make life much easier for him. I'd be happy to drive down to his for the day to have it installed the proper way!

He had to take out the drivers seat as the UK spec alarm sits under there, then do some work in the footwell, then under the bonnet and back in to the drivers side. Matt arrived at about 11am and left at 4pm so 5 hours as a guide. JB

Yes, I know where the unit lives and have some nice photo's of it but, I have never seen anyone on here post up about it's location, giving the game away

Matt Harwood
Thanks for the kind words guys. I'm just about to jump in a nice warm bath... That'll be the second time I've been soaked today! Pete, if you want an alarm done, send me a PM and I'm sure we can arrange something.
