keron
soak it in wd40...leave it for a while...then use a long bar to undo them? worked for me
merckx
Just loads of WD40 which is a bit obvious. Two of the nuts were fairly easy on mine to loosen, the third and awkward one was rounded off. I used a nut spitter, it deformed the nut and I bashed on the socket . It then came loose. What a pain in the arse it was though.
Terminator
AIR The most difficult nut to get at, was best accessed using a suitable high quality socket on a short extension, I pushed this home then connect a flexible coupling to the end of the short bar and then attaching a long bar and my trust 3 foot breaker This kept the socket fully pushed onto the nut. I kept checking that the socket was fully square on the nut, due to dire warning on this BBS AFAIK this particular nut is usually the one that caused the problems as there is no straight line access for a breaker bar. Wirth the above approach and lots of WD the night before I had no problems
dude
Paul , i havent done one for a while that HASNT snapped at least 1 bolt , problem is they start to come off then just 'freeze' once thats happened its curtains for the stud !!!! Best i can offr is the bit that holds the studs is easily removed , i have one you can use to put new studs in , that way when they snap its a quick fix to swap out the part !!! Jake
I've had good luck on other cars by heating the manifold nuts with an oxy acetylene torch till they're red hot and then undoing them with a windy gun.

Prob is that either the nut or stud is SS , when we had to cut one off all we got was green flames !!!! Dude:flame Dev
