Matt Harwood
... For helping me fix my car! Some time back, my car developed a slight misfire at idle. closer investigation showed a slight loss in compression on no. 4 cylinder. (20 psi lower than the rest). Worryingly, when the head came off, we found that a valve seat had come away, and been pushed back up by the returning motion of the valve. Only now, it wasn't sitting right and as such, wasn't sealing properly. Oddly, the engine actually ran very well aside from the misfire. Thankfully, the valve head didn't come off when the seat dropped! So, big thank you to Mark and Mig who spent all day with me on Saturday helping me fix things, and thanks to John K for supplying me with a new cylinder head to replace mine. Thanks guys!
