Ady
Got a little bored on sat morning, so before the Wales rugby game i deceded to clean the supra. The rusty windo wipers have been gettin on my tits since i baught her, so i went down to my town, got some wire wool andblack spray paint. I deceided to make use of some old primer and laquer too. You can see the rust here... So i took them all off, and marked there locations. Next i used the wire wool and rubed them down to the origional steel. It took just under a hour to do each.... and i still have metal spliners today you can see the mess they were in. Next came a coat of grey primer After it dryed i gentely rubbed it down with very fine wire wool and put the first coat of black on Then put another coat of black paint followed bye two coats of cleare laqure Finally i fixed them back to the car Not bad considering it only cost me £7 for materials They look like bran new ones now I know its no big deal, but im a fussy kinda person

Ady
LOL i had the primer and laqure from when i had my scooby WRX,i was going to spray my intercooler, with a stencil i made for it, butit never happened. The primer and laqure were great for a couple of quid, I dont think you need TOP DOG stuff for window wipers??? The primer took out a lot of little minute scratches, and the laqure put one hell of a shine to them

Schtuv
Excellent - the silver and small rust patches on mine are getting on my nerves ... I'll put this on the things-to-do list, after 'attach new wing' and 'replace front tyres'!
Wazz72
Did mine about 2 years ago in black smoothrite (Spray on hammerite) Looked ok but to shinny for me. Just re done them by stripping them down with a wire brush and a drill (takes about 5 mins each one). This time I have re sprayed them with matt black halfords paint, looks much better now.
