Jake
Steve Manley IS Toyota, he works at Inchcape Toyota in Oxford. He just gives us some discount, 10-20% depending on whether he got his leg-over at the weekend.

TNT
I asked my local dealer for a price for glass and plastic. The glass came out at £98 before owners club discount, plastic were around £160 each. Can't see why they are going for £300 on t'internet. Having said that, I recently had to get a new front bumper from Toyota, came in genuine parts box but is clearly a cast from a mould. Really poor quality but the price had come down from £600 to £160. I just wonder if the toyota glass lights are the same?

Guest mk47
the facelift plastic ones are more expensive around £400 because they are the newer updated style ones without the sidelight in the headlight. the glass ones are the UK spec ones which have the sidelight still in the headlight but cost around £130 each as mentioned above direct from toyota. not sure how much the jspec plastic ones are, but if you need to change id go for glass or the facelift anyway

vvteye
or you could do what I did and have both! Glass lenses, facelift interiors. Probelm is the expense though, retrspectively, I don't think it's worth it.
R Black
I've finally got Glass headlights, but i want the innards black similar to the facelift's while keeping the chrome rings, whats the best paint to use? Should i roughen the surface to spray on? or just degrease?
