ADL Mark
And yes, I know these are like rocking horse poo, but I have to try After one of these, I've scoured eBay internationally and can find them for every model of car bar a Supra pretty much, even for 1JZ engined cars but not a Supra. Money waiting if anybody is thinking of selling one.. Cheers, Mark.
Paul Whiffin
Rocking horse poo these days I'm afraid mate, I bought the last out of Apexi Japan earlier in the year and they've all gone now. Good luck in finding one though!
ADL Mark
I know Paul, but I had to try. As they say, if you don't ask you don't get!
supradibbs
i would be willing to sell mine but.................... Best speak to RyanG mine is not a run of the mill unit its the pro edition which includes 2 stage lauch control and lots of other features i dont begin to understand i would not sell this for the regular 500 quid that these units go for the only reason am considering selling is because i want to go for a vw racing manifold and it does not have a throttle position sensor which am led to belive the power fc requires
ADL Mark
I found one of those listed on an Oz site somewhere whilst searching. They're optimised for drag racing apparently, like a normal PFC but with a few extra features to help with dragging. PM me if you're seriously interested in getting rid and how much you're looking for..
ADL Mark
Power FC Pro Spec. Only available for some car models, the Power FC Pro Spec.CPU has been designed for drag racing use. These units have two additional functions over the regular units: Ignition cut used for rpm limiter - Regular Power FCs cut fuel feed when the preset revolution limit is reached. At high rpm, there is the possibility of knocking when the fuel is cut in high powered cars. The Power FC Pro Spec.CPUs cut ignition at the rpm limit to prevent the knocking that could potentially destroy the engine. 0km/h rpm limiter setting - Allows for the setting for an initial rpm limiter that is active whilst the car is not in motion. This allows for mainting a rpm level for consistent launches. Apparently..

And it will work with a PFC, fitted and mapped one a few weeks ago....
Ryan.G
VW inlet does have a TPS, not the std one though! And it will work with a PFC, fitted and mapped one a few weeks ago.... Good to know they work alright thanks Paul did you have to play with the acceleration enrichment due to the large diameter of the TB.
Paul Whiffin
Not on this particular car no, have had to on others I've done though. I do love a PFC, dont particular like D-jetro's though, just enough adjustment available to get it 100%.
supradibbs
thanks Paul so just the standard vw manifold will work for sure i will be keeping the power fc
