Which Diesel Car???

Right i opted out of my company car scheme in July and bought a very nice Laguna Initiale 1.9 DCi

Now its no 300zx or supra but it gets me from A to B in comfort but what i am finding is its a great motorway car but i also do alot of my work in the Lakes and surrounding areas and its no sports car LOL ive fitted a chip which have improved things but theres still something missing from the driving experience

So i'm thinking of changing the car to something else??

Needs to be a fairly decent size as i have a child and dog that needs to go in the boot, needs to be around the 5-6k mark and needs to be good on fuel which is another thing i have been a bit unhappy with!! dont get me wrong it does 40 to the gallon but thats if i drive carefully where as my golf GT TDi did 40+ and i used to rag the *****x off it :D

Any ideas?

Mike

Cant you get a GT Tdi for that kind of money, or a used 320d?

not really, only old ones or ones with silly miles on the clock :( i dont want to go into debt for a car as it defeats the object of raping the company for the allowance and PPM :D

i did love my golf be it a little boring inside but the boot area was not the biggest but i may go down that route again as it was a cracking car, i do also lke he bmw but again being german there just so bland inside :Pling: plus a 320d are saloon and i dont think my boxer dog would like it in the boot :p

If you can find one how about the seat leon 150 tdi, same spec as the vw without the badge markup ;)

to be honest i was thinking about them but after looking there very similar prices as the golf, i do think they look more sporty than the golf though :) and the new one is 170 bhp :D
