snake
i have just fitted a blitz md boost gauge into the air vent and wired it off the clock problem-- the guage lights up when ignition is swiched on but it will not register boost. The connction for boost was off the same feed as boost controller The wiring was as follows md gauge red ---- blue/red on clock [switchpower ] black-- to white on clock [ground] orange---green/orange on clock [light power] The red wire on clock was not used as i believe it to be permenent live for clock is this a boost problem or an electrical fault ? many thanks
Angarak
(MD Guage) Orange requires a permanent live, is the clock 'light' wire a permanent live?
snake
i think i have spliced the orange on md gauge into the lighting power [green/orange] im sure the ground is ok and the switch power works so it must be the orange wire on md needs to go to the red wire on clock this should give the permanent live required for the memory on the md gauge:cry:

If you are revving it from stand still it will only go to zero, to create positive boost you will need to have some load on the engine, ie. go for a drive
snake
i will try that out now. if it works, i may have to eat humble pie as my g/f suggested the same and i said how would that make a difference:taped: many thanks
