Gerry
Went to see the famous "Sorry I haven't a Clue" last night in Oxford... Brilliant ! The show (Radio 4) has been going for over thirty years and the Chairman "Humph" was born in 1921 (and is still one of the most respected jazz trumpet players in the country). It was just brilliant, half way though the second half, I couldn't see for the tears streaming down my face with laughter. Featured Graeme Garden, Tim Brooke-Taylor, Barry Cryer and Jeremy Hardy. Sadly Samantha the scorer wasn't there... she was off on a dinner date with a gentleman friend from Moscow who's brought over a variety of caviars and an array of vodka-based apperitifs. She says he's going to offer her delicious food in his hotel room and then liqour out on the balcony. bum bum... One of very many..... G

Gerry
More from the lovely Samantha... As is customary, Samantha spent some time down in the gramaphone library earlier, fetching the hit singles she's chosen. She's become quite friendly with the two elderly archivists, Jack and Arthur. They've recently gone part time, so Samantha's come to a working arrangement - she does the paperwork, Arthur gets her 45s out and Jack's off all afternoon.
