bmx1lew
Buy an n/a Supra and keep the STI, then when you can drive a RWD car properly buy a TT i dont see why you would need a n/a first i went from a civic, then a 1.9 deisel then to a TT, if you drive responsibly and understand that rwd will kick out then he should be fine, just go easy on the gas in the wet

bmx1lew
im taking her off road for the winter dont want to risk it + evil road salt, it was bad enought with the civic with low profile's on never mind the supra, but i have played around in the wet with it and yes the back end comes out easy.. but if controled can be fun
grahamc
You know; Metallic Blue, Gold wheels, BOOM BOOM stereo, baseball hat, no tax. Having seen what some people have done to supras... could be classed the same whilst scoob is a good car, its not a cool car. ruined by certain owners at cheaper end of market, now the stigma of driving one is a joke, victim of its own success? then theres the huge list of common faults, big ends, pistons, slap, clutchs, gear boxs and selectors, before i bought my supe, i asked a good mechanic whats the common faults on em, he said there isnt any! to me, squeeze aint worth the juice. imo. supe all day I hae to say it, but I think the supras are heading the same way, they are becoming very cheap to buy, especially the NAs (and even more so the autos ). Some of the latest "awesome" (could not find a sarcastic smily) supras posted on here tend to be heading the same way... The only ones that will remain are the TT 6spds Skyline R34 is the way to go

Driver usually looks like he is sitting on the floor, NO seat. Only top of head showing from the outside of the car.

bignum
Scoobys are a great everyday car, by that i mean they can be driven hard in all conditions and they are more practical, BUT i had a couple of laps in a mates wrx prodrive at the nurburgring this year and allthough it was ok it was like driving an astra on steroids, just not thrilling, no feel, unrewarding, boring really, so it depends what you want, a well driven supra is a fantastic feeling but you have to pick your days.
