shaf
i thought the vents were to help aid cooling and the excess water can be deemed as water injection

Paul Laing
Would it be possible to make a drainage system for the vents, like the TRd ones? Maybe a removable one for shows etc..... Still want one like

foodfreak
Top secret bonnets should come with the rain guards.... keeps most of the water off the important bits Mine has:) ... can't see them in this photo though John
Jake
Thanks John, I was looking for a pic of the TS bonnet on a Supra. I'm a bit "Hmmmm" about the odd vent over the exhaust manifold area. I've seen your car IRL and I didn't even notice that little vent, so it can't be all that bad. I wonder if the bonnet pins are really necessary. How's it for flexing at speed? Any other problems with it? Cheers
foodfreak
no problems at all.......... even at *60+, just flexes a little. Just DON'T lean on the opposite edge to the bonnet stay when it's up. you should have seen Dude's bonnet lift at speed:eek: you really can see the heat comming out of the vents, especially the one 'odd' vent by the turbos. But strangely enough, since going single, with the Turbo blanket on, the heat's not been that noticable. Mine came over with the pins fitted but, I'd stiil put them on for peace of mind:thumbs:
Jake
You have the nicest Supra. I hate you. It's the one of the very few Supras I've seen that actually looks good with that massive Veilside rear spoiler.
