It's much easier if the car has been lifted up - if you're not feeling brave, why not have it done in a garage when you go for something else as well? Chris Wilson Posted September 27, 2007 Share Posted September 27, 2007 If the rear pipe union unscrews easily, no big deal, if it seizes it'll be peeing out petrol whilst you decide what to do. The pipe union flare deforms if Toyota or Mr Someone Else has overtightened it, and it's a nightmare to undo, and fit the new one.
