Gazboy
Lets hypothesis that we have a certain £88m in our collectives pockets, a blank canvas an an objective to build the best track car you can think of. One rule, the 2jz stays, anything else goes Imo it should be more than 'slap a single on it'.

Ark
Specially designed spaceframe chassis, carbon body work, carbon suspension stuff....blah blah blah... Why not adapt an F1 car to run the 2JZ?
jim_supra
Having said that, with £88m I'd just buy a JGTC Supra.
RobSheffield
Any reason for the £88m? Realistically i would say 3.4 stroker, 264 cams for spool, small single on street kit type/arnout manifold. Much weight saving including trim removal, removal of unrequired parts, carbon panels (custom made with very thin carbon) Ti exhaust, lightweight fly and prop shaft, TRD lsd, top of the range suspension, 17" light weight wheels, slicks. no bodykit AT ALL, no lights, hole for intake. light alloy hubs, AP/Brembo lightweight brakes. Interior should be a lightweight race seat and a stack race dash. That ought to do it Having said that, with £88m I'd just buy a JGTC Supra. He said 2JZ has to stay
Homer
JGTC Supra and stick the 2JZ back in

Re the 17's- do you go for 17s as that's what the car was designed around, or do you go bigger to house gigantic brakes? £88m is the Euromillions jackpot this Friday. Dragonlady
Keep the 2jz, bin the rest, and put it on the back of an Atom!
fishman
even though people dont like them, you need a good carbon wing for downforce and there lightweight too.

I also considered posting a thread on this very topic... it is nice to see other people thinking along the same lines about spending the lottery money.
