TonyP
Is there any evidence to suggest that there was more than one squirrel involved? it might well have been the same squirrel coming back for another ride. Squirrel Alton Towers.

tbourner
Is there any evidence to support the unfounded conclusion that some of you have come to, that the squirrels were in any way harmed or killed? As Dave said it doesn't really matter. I'm sure the Gs exerted on it could have dazed it enough to lose it's balance and land awkwardly. They are made mostly of muscle so it's unlikely to be bruised, but is highly likely to have broken something or at least damaged itself in some way that makes it unable to escape danger as it once could. But these facts only make it worse, because the ONLY way you could forgive such individuals is if they were in fact attempting to kill the animal to eat it, and since the above points suggest it is highly unlikely to have been killed but highly likely to have had it's life seriously impaired, then the individuals are just sick people, similar to those who enjoy seeing any other of life's creatures in pain. Tricky-Ricky
Pointless thread, being perpetuated by those who are just out to wind up those of us who actually give a shit about animals! which also goes to prove the earlier points made about humans;)
Nick
Is there any evidence to support the unfounded conclusion that some of you have come to, that the squirrels were in any way harmed or killed? A disclaimer at the start of the video would have helped to clarify the nature of the squirrels physical condition afterwards, and prevent unecessary worry and upset by some viewers. Stratty
I have only just had a brief look at the video and it is nothing more than pathetic. Getting your kicks out of injuring animals is totally unjust.

Pete
Pete, I used to hold you in high esteem. Really? What did I do to deserve that then? Look, I was having a wind up FFS! Burna takes snuff photos of the blighters and I get the bad rep? Yes it's quite cruel to launch unsuspecting creatures into orbit. I do love all things furry* and feathered and would prefer to see a human torture as opposed to animals. Those RSPCA adverts with the dog make me want cry and I can't watch them. I do believe squirrels have a good rep for what they are though - rats in trees. Honestly...people take things to seriously around here sometimes. *Except cats. They just take the piss. Well decided to watch it,really didnt want to and my thoughts dont differ. What is wrong with people?] Things like this really do piss me off. Pete, not just getting at you mate,I know you are a compassionate guy from reading numerous posts over the 2 yrs. That is what shocked me TBH. I find it very disturbing what people do for fun.... I would like to see how the guys/gals who did this would cope if we just dropped them from a tall building and left them to try and survive.Life and nature is hard enough for everyone, without wankers like this adding to its toil. There, serious enough for you sir?

Big Ads
Pete, I used to hold you in high esteem. Sadly you have let yourself down. For Christ sake! What a drama queen*. Why Pete should feel he should apologise and justify his posts is beyond me. Each one written in jest, and dipped in sarcasm. As for comparing this to peoadphillia; Slinging a squirrel across you back garden… Raping a child Squirrel slinging… Child raping Squirrel slinging… Child raping Squirrel slinging… Child raping Identical*. I’m not for sed squirrel catapult, just against some of the ridiculous replies in this thread. * I have asterisk all areas in my post where sarcasm was used, this to highlight it for those who have a complete inability to detect it.
