Is it possible to fit an induction kit to a UK Supra?

I was thinking of purchasing a second hand induction kit for my 96 UK TT and decided to call racelogic just to confirm it was the correct type for the UK Model Supra. The guy at racelogic told me that non of the Blitz induction kits would fit the UK car as its air sensor is in a different location to the import Supras preventing an induction kit being fitted. Is this true?

I am pretty sure I have seen and herd of UK cars with induction kits on them!

Cheers

The Jap spec's do not have an air flow sensor.

I'm sure it could be adapted with appropriate pipework etc.

Should have asked them if they knew how many cylinders a Supra has. :D

Sorry to hijack the thread chaps.

Martin. Silly question but why did you buy the induction kit? I was looking at a Blitz SUS but some people say it has reverse effeccts on performance. Like poor filtration and increasing temps.

Were you impressed with your purchase?

It came already fitted to the car, so can't tell you much about the difference between stock.

Although i am intending at some point to box it in.

I never fitted an airfilter to my last Supra and it never had any problems getting enough air through the system.

My new Blitz Sus filter comes with its own custom built enclosure so thats the only reason Im fitting it, otherwise they have been known to suck a lot of hot air in.

Seeing as we are on this topic : I made a post a few days ago but never got any replies, but my question was... is it possible to increase the air-inlet into the stock airbox to allow more air flow into the standard panel filter? And has anyone tried this?

I have heard in past posts that an aftermarket air-filter doesn't give that much (if any) performance gains..... one way to improve air-flow would be to increase the air inlet into the standard airbox.... what do you guys think?

I really don't think there is much too gain on stock turbos. You could cut a hole through the bottom of the airbox through the wing but it would be quite small
