robin
Has anyone here installed HID's for the main/high beams? I have them for the low beams and they work well but I'm not sure they could put up with the constant on/off that high beams suffer? Any thoughts? robin
i have them never had a problem, have them on my fogs as well Wow.. where do you put all the ballasts?
Ark
Same here. All the ballasts are strapped into the side vents, nothing on display.

Lukeyboy2k
i have them never had a problem, have them on my fogs as well Me too, although I now never flash people to let them out (I'm thinking it may drastically reduce the life of the bulbs) - they have to make do with a hand signal and smile. My ballasts are between the air box and light, and above the radiator on the drivers side. They are all sitting snugly near the battery casing on the passenger side. Maybe I need to tidy it up a little.

Ark
I never took photos, but they out of the way of the weather. Wouldn't matter if they weren't though - the ballasts are all weather-proof.
robin
I wanted to put mine under the main headlights but the damn dildo/headlight washers are in the way. Ive got mine next to the battery and airbox. Doubt I could fit another two pairs of ballasts in there though.
DannoSupra
hmmm.... good plan! might go with the Main Beam HID. Or get brighter bulbs. Not going to bother with Fog's. They're never on
JamesG
I have HIDs for dipped beam, but I couldn't really see the point of having them for main beam too. The main beam is plenty bright enough to see a long way into the distance, so I'm not sure what benefit there is?
robin
I know what you mean. The main beams are as bright as you would need. But brighter is better
