Guest Skunk141
Hi My friend has just got his Supra from Japan with missing service history, the car is a 96 auto 3.0 non turbo, I will be doing a C service on the car including cam belt. Has any one got the C service check list? Cheers Stewart
Digsy
Hi there and welcome. There is no "C" sevice for a 96 Supra. There's also no such thing as a "full" service. Do a search for "service schedule" and check what needs to be done. Depending on milage, almost all the services have a different workscope. JustGav
Never heard of the C-service... My idea of a full service would include... 1. Full brake fluid change 2. New oil 3. New coolant 4. New diff oil 5. New gearbox oil 6. New plugs 7. New airfilter 8. New HT leads (if NA) 9. Bulb check (including dashboard warning lights) 10. New brake pads (and discs if required) 11. New fuel filter
Guest Skunk141
Ok thanks for the tips, the only reason I said C service is because that is what Toyota has suggested at £510 + £360 for cambelt!!!
JustGav
Here is the official toyota manual... http://www.slipstreem.net/mkivsupra/manuals/SCHEDULED_SERVICES_TUROB.PDF
Guest Skunk141
Thanks for that, can any one suggest a decent back box as well, not too expensive but nice and loud, also is it worth d-cating a N/A ? Another quick question, how much would a full service with cambelt change cost at a supra specialist? JustGav
Decatting an NA does make a slight difference, although it will get much louder.. My decatted NA which had a Greddy TI exhaust was silly loud to be fair.
Guest Skunk141
Ok sounds good, where is the best place to order a new back box and d-cat for the weekend? Just realised that xs-power one is USA...
