Guest putputcar
Hi all, my 94 supra has been making this screeching noise under the condition below. It's a auto. it's not slipping belt whine. With AC on, when I make a right or left turn with acceleration (normal acceleration to make a turn from a stop), it screeches. If I turn the AC off while turning (while screeching), the noise stops immediately. with AC off, no screeching noise at all under any condition. I have done below, 1. new acc belt 2. top off my power steering fluid 3. put the wheels in far left or far right position, then pull the throttle trying to detect the noise. (no noise) it seems like it only does it under load. 4. no wobbly crank pulley. what do you all think? crank pulley? power steering or AC compressor? TrickTT
Check your aux belt tensioner first, if thats ok i'd say your aircon compressor is knackered
Guest putputcar
is it a common issue for a supra ac compressor?
