sw4mpthing
some more info............ What Is A Performance Module? The Performance Module is designed and manufactured by us and you will not find it anywhere else on the market. It is designed to help increase the Performance of the vehicle. The Module modifies any standard ECU by telling the ECU that the incoming air in the intake system is cold and so advances the ignition to compensate producing more power. These Modules will fit most Electronic Fuel Injected Petrol Vehicles with an IAT Sensor including Turbo Equipped Vehicles. They do not however fit Diesel Vehicles. Previous tests show that it can improve the Fuel Consumption. Also this Module works well with other aftermarket products such as Induction Kits or Performance Exhausts. The Module can easily be fitted and removed without any cutting or soldering within minutes. It can also be removed for MOT's, Services etc if needed and refitted with no adverse effects, meaning you can take it out when you like! RobSheffield
The Performance Module is designed and manufactured by us and you will not find it anywhere else on the market. Its a 10p resistor, it fools the ecu into thinking the intake temp is lower than it is, NOT a good idea. Do a search on gaining bhp the proper way and leave ebay crap to the chavs.
TLicense
So basically it'll make your car idle like shite as it'll think it's a couple of degrees colder. Probably good for det at the top end as well. Steer well clear!
sw4mpthing
ok will do thanks guys.
Guest DaveWilko
ah! its prob a diode. Seen these before. You get a placky bag with a diode in it. I bought one out of curiosity once but mine only cost £6. Didn't get a free cable tie tho. Its lying in the garage somewhere. Are you interested? only £15 and 2 free cable ties! Homer
Haha, are you serious about this or is it a joke? If you're seriously asking, then don't bother it's a load of cr*p. Same things as those "fuel atomiser" magnets to improve MPG, electric turbo kits, power resistors to *increase* the fuel input to improve performance, etc.... Someone somewhere will buy this rubish and swear blind it makes a difference, a couple of their mates buy the same and so on. It's a sure way to make money out of fools. robert_gray
Dont!!!!!!!!!! All it is is a resistor. It just fools you ecu on coldness of your air intake making it think that its colder therfore making it think that it can increase the fueling. It al load of crap. Yes it will work but it will forget any setting that it has and over/under fuel.

ManwithSupra
Cos they were so cheap, one of my mates got one to see what it actualy was, he got a varible resistor (like one on a volume control) attached to a piece of Strip board with a couple of wires coming out of it and some instructions to attach to the ECU..... erm not exactly er HKS is it, personaly anything less than £150 that calims to bring you more BHP by the touch of a button should be kept well clear of your car.... cheekymonkey
Hmmm sounds like those pesky little chips that fool the ecu into thinking you're running less boost than you are! . . . oh, wait...
Tricky-Ricky
I think the guys that sell these should be tared feathered and run out of Ebay:p there are the odd exception to the rule but all that will happen on most turbo cars, is that they will just run even richer AFRs and the Supra is bad enough at that once decatted, so the net result will be to loose power and at the worst suffer from bore wash due to the amount of petrol thats being chucked in! Remember say NO to Ebay chips;)
