edge
Been told that estates are going cheap so was just wondering how true this is as it would be ideal if they are. Need an estate or large hatch for the other half. Cheap to run (fuel, service myself, tyres etc) and reliable. What would about £2k get me at auction? JustGav
What would about £2k get me Laid? Never been myself actually, really tempted to just go along to somewhere like Blackbushe and see what it is all about.

Supra-Woman
I have been to auctions, i love them. £2K should get you something decent as you are right they are going through really cheap at the mo. A X reg escort estate went throught the Ashford auction last week and only fetched £200 sold all good. If you have never been before id suggest you poodle down there a couple of times and see what goes on and what there is around, it will give you an idea of what you can get for your money. ellis
I'd agree - bought a few cars from auction (BCA at Nottingham) and the experience is great. Go a couple of times first, get a feel for it and watch what the cars go for. Dealers tend to know when a privateer is bidding and can push you higher than you want!! Bargains to be had if you know what you're looking at.

Supra-Woman
As said Dealers will try to get you to bid higher than you intend to. If you have a price then stick to it.
