Did you notice that there was not full vision at the lights, I dont care how well trained you are thats not right and he was only training so how can it be right to take any risks at all.

In an emergency I can understand they have to push the envelope a bit and what is safe to us might be slightly different but I am driving for a living and have taken advance driver training and could not see how that was safe in anyway at all, I even rewound the Sky+ because me and the wife said exactly the same.

I rewound it too when I saw that junction. Maybe it was edited badly and VBH was referring to a different junction? Certainly wouldn't be safe to take a blind crossroads at 100mph on a red light, even with sirens on!

Missed it myself, hopefully I'll catch it on gootube or somewhere, but what sort of red light was it, rural, or in the centre of a city, pedestrian crossing, junction?... How much visibility was there? (Although 100mph through a red light anywhere must be too fast)...

Unless he was 'testing the car' of course...

EDIT : Just caught the posts above... I can't imagine any crossroads where it would be 'acceptable' in the eyes of the law to go through a red at a ton, naughty naughty people...
