Wazz72
Can somebody please help me. I was checking the connectors on the back of the stereo, and i must have pulled on a wire from the connector block behind the odometer, as my speedo does not seem to be working now. The rev conter works, but the speedo doesn't i've looked around the back and there is one of those kph / mph derestricter blocks behind it. Two of te wires are not connected, a pink one on the top right to another coloured one. Does anyone have the pinnout for one of these convertors, and if so could you email me a copy? Thanks to anyone who can help. Email Me

Wazz72
Still no luck, checked again and two of the wires that say not connected where bare, maybee they have touched, if so what could have blown? My speedo dont work, the overdrive light keeps flickering off and on, the odometer isnt gaining any miles, and the gear changing doesnt feel right. Any sugestions would be apreciated. also why can I not have a turbo timer running with my cat 1 alarm? Is there any way around this? Thanks. keron
it is probably more than likely to be the wire that goes to the ecu? as this has to pass near the stereo unit. usually the delimiter box would sit near to the speedo? then one of the wires goes to the ecu so it has to pass near the radio to get to the passenger footwell? chances are that you have pulled this one out? give this one a check. Supra ST Myster
that wire that goes to the ECU comes out of the odo unit, its the pink wire so dont think its that. The wire that makes the odo work and the dial speedo is a blue/red wire, whats strange is that there are 2 of the blue/red wires from the gear box one to the odo and one to the dial sppedo, so i question is.. did the odo clock up in miles or do you think its in kph? As if its in miles its more than likey that the blue/red wire that goes to the odo has been cut and the blue/red wire that goes to the dial speedo goes into the convertor and from the convertor is goes to the dial speedo and the odo, so has to be the convertor, check you have 12V on it. Wazz72
The Odo is in Kph but the spedo is in Mph, and the twoo wires that are not connected could have shorted the first time i replaced the dash, only found them the second time. Not putting any km on the odo, and ive been using a Roadangel to see how fast im going..
Supra ST Myster
these 2 wires you mention are comming out of the convertor are they? to prove its the convertor take it out and connect the speed signal back, should be obvious which 2 wires needs connecting back, again you have checked the supply going to the convertor?
