Terminator
Any one use 3? What are your experiences good and bad, problems, recommendations?
robin
I have been with 3 for a few years now. The signal used to be a bit patcy but its alot better these days. You can always make a call or txt etc. Dont expect to be able to make a video call all the time though the 3G coverage isnt comprahensive. It will roam onto o2 networks when 3 isnt avaliable. Big Ads
Been with them since the start, cheap contracts, very poor customer service. Try to get someone you know with 3 to come round your house to test for signal, like Robin said really.
Sheefa
Was with them for 2 years but defected back to Orange because they were the only provider to have the new N95 available. I was pleased with Three. I had very good reception everywhere, much better than Orange. Depends on location clearly as per everything. Good deals, good reception, pointless features

robert_gray
Not 100% on the customer service but the contracts are good. even woth it if your in a poor 3g area. better than orange
robin
Just dont rely on the 3G signal mine spends 50% of its time on o2's network.. fine for calls/txt's but forget all the video calling stuff. Some of the roaming is included. I was able to make long calls from Taipei in Taiwan back to UK mobiles and landline... all included in my tarrif. Tried the same in greece last month and ended up with a £50 bill. Best to phone and ask. I found the customer service to be OK. Just long waits on hold etc. They managed to email me a complete rundown of the roaming charges and which areas are included.
Konrad
I have 2 contract phones in 3. Good range, never lost signal, N95 is avaliable (but strangely not advertised anywhere ), customer service used to be better (one with chinese accent), now it become absolutely crap (Bombay call centre...). If you want someone to help you there, you just have to choose option "leave feedback" before talking to customer service Overall - good, cheap contracts, reasonable phones, X-series pack allows you to use Skype and MSN. I'm paying 26 pounds/month and have 180 pounds of credit to use every month on txt, minutes, mms etc...
