Chris Wilson
I have a customer who has supplied a 60 mm EGT gauge, and wants it in the middle vent hole of a UK spec MKIV. The vent hole is 72 mm ID.... Is there an adaptor ring commercially available, probably in black plastic? Thanks.
bondango
Chris had to do this on a car a few years ago, wasnt a supra but same principal, only clean stock looking thing i could find was.. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Location-rings-Spigot-rings-for-Alloy-wheels-Spacers_W0QQitemZ250166605342QQihZ015QQcategoryZ14771QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem As you can see from that listing there is one that would suit, then again there may be an actual gauge adapter out there - ive never found one
Pete
You're looking to remove the whole air assembly? I can't remember what the size is of the inner section of this (52mm or 60mm, I think 60), you can disassemble it and fit a gauge just in the round ball bit that revolves in the middle. I did this for my boost gauge before I got the A pillar pod. The ball bit just pushes out from the surround and there are three clips around the edge to remove the flappy inner bits. They're a bit twiddly to reassemble though if you change your mind

Chris Wilson
Ahh, right, I thought I'd read a 60 mm gauge would fit, I'll take the nozzle out, and then apart. Thanks everyone Give me a crankshaft to wrestle with, any day
DannoSupra
Yeah, put it in the basket of the existing Vent, then you can move the gauge around too
