Power stearing judder

Hi

Some more questions, Im getting rather good at this.

When Im off choke and just normal idle ( around 600 ) if Im just moving off or at very low speeds I get a juddering feel through the stearing wheel, sometimes only slight but sometimes ( on or near full lock ) realy noticable. Is this something I need to get looked at/or look at myself? The PS res is full and doesnt seem to leak.

Thanks for any help. :)

Bob.

It may be just air in the system or it may be sign that the pump is worn.

Try bleeding the system of air, remove cap on the steering fluid bottle and whilst stationary with the engine running, turn the steering wheel from lock to lock a few times.

Thanks for your replys, I have Khumos on 19" but I dont feel like its tyres and its probably worse going forward, I think Ill try and bleed them but I have this nagging feeling its the pump. Anyone got any ball park figures for prices to buy one?

Many thanks.

I had a similar issue a while back, seems to have gone now...only seemed to happen on full lock when going slow, really juddered, maybe putting too much pressure on an old motor?? Seems to have gone since the service thinking about it, not sure if it's related...
