Best results from protein shakes is to have one prior to your workout and then immediately after. You should mix approx 30g of glucose powder into your post-workout shake. This will help get the protein to where it is needed quicker.

Would love to do that, but cannot mix up a drink at work before i go to gym. Pain in the arse to have to bring a blender into work. And the shakers do not mix them up properly.

U need to 'shock' your body Jazz. Try a different protein powder, totally change your workout. I'm not pretending i know what i'm talking about, but in april i changed a lot to do with my diet and gym focus and am getting bigger and stronger each month. But gym stuff seems to go in phases, and at the moment i am in a good phase it seems

Very true - you don't want to be doing the same routine everytime.

I am not here to plug my site but there is a full-body workout under the Weight Training link that is fantastic. I have been using it for a long time and a number of body-builders swear by it.

Have a read of it anyway, it will give you food for thought.

I will posting some split routines onto the site in the future (when I get time) so keep an eye on it.

Jazz, diet and exercise can't change genetics, if you are as small-framed as your posts in the past have suggested go for the Bruce Lee look, you can't build huge muscle mass if there isn't anything to fasten it to :)

Michael speaks much sense....take head young jazz

well thats wrong you can alter genetics but i dont tend to go down that route, its too dangerous, ie growth hormones steroids

you cant....sorry

Get your bodyfat to sub-10% - simple.

Can be done without losing muscle, it just takes time and determination. And you will be every bit as strong as when you are 15% BF. Health hazards and weakness start at 5% BF and below. A Pro BB competitor comes in between 3-5%.

To lose that weight fat - low intensity cardio, preferably in the morning on an empty stomach. Keep Protein HIGH, fats moderate and carbs low when cutting.

Wise move, that is easiest to do. Although after months of eating everything in site, cutting is harder diet-wise!

i was reading and for slim guys like me theres no other option but to lose the cutting phase and eat more calories to stack the weight
